Soluble Oils
Soluble oils are used extensively in the metal processing industry as a coolant in cutting, milling and grinding applications.
These are usually emulsions of 5% oil and 95% water and when disposed of are likely to have a residual content of chlorine which is included in their formulation to provide cooling for machining tools.
Collection information
Soluble oils carry a treatment charge as we do not currently recover the oil content for reuse.
