Eco-Oil complies with the following current legislation:

• Hazardous Waste Regulations 2005

• The European Waste Catalogue (EWC) 2000/532/EC

• Directive 2000/76/EC on the Incineration of Waste (WID)

• The Environmental Protection Act 1990

• The Controlled Waste (Registration of Carriers and Seizure of Vehicles) Regulations 1991

• The End-of-Life Vehicles Regulations 2003


• Interim position for Waste Oil being used as a fuel

• Processed Fuel Oil (PFO) – End of waste criteria for the production and use of processed fuel oil from waste lubricating oils

We believe in treating this legislation as a minimum standard for our business. We work closely with the Environment Agency and trade bodies to ensure that our business and the services we provide for our clients meet all legal and environmental requirements.
